Being ready for what’s to come: a view from the Belgian Army

On 24 April 2024, BCU organized a conference on the theme of “Being ready for what’s to come: the point of view of the Belgian army”.
The event took place at the prestigious University Foundation. The speaker was Vice-Admiral Jan De Reume, Aide de Camp to His Majesty the King.
Vice-Admiral De Reume shared his perspective on the challenges and necessary preparations for the Belgian Army. He touched on various strategic and operational aspects, emphasizing the importance of anticipation, flexibility and international cooperation in ensuring the security and defense of the Kingdom of Belgium.
